A club founded on a filtering problem
Club Ava Devine exists because the hardest part of collecting wine is not finding bottles — it is knowing which bottles deserve the space in your cellar. Our founders spent years watching collectors overpay for labels with loud scores and quiet quality. The club was built as the opposite of a mail-order catalog: a small membership, a tight curation process, and no incentive to move inventory that should stay in the barrel.
What membership includes
Every shipment follows the same discipline:
- Allocation-grade bottles from estates across Napa, Burgundy, Tuscany, and the Rhône — including library releases and back vintages that never reach retail shelves.
- Boutique discoveries from small family producers, chosen by our sommelier panel for what is in the glass rather than the marketing behind it.
- Tasting notes written for the serious drinker: drinking windows, decanting advice, and honest context on the producer and vintage.
- Cellar guidance for members building a vertical or simply deciding what to open this weekend.
How curation works
Every wine offered to members has passed a blind tasting by our panel first. Producers and importers do not pay for placement — the club earns through membership, which keeps the incentive pointed the right way. Quantities are limited by what we would drink ourselves; if a vintage disappoints, we skip it and tell members why. Deliveries are temperature-controlled, and bottles that arrive compromised are replaced without argument.
Club Ava Devine is for wine lovers who want a smaller, better-shaped cellar rather than a fuller one. Join, and let the panel do the filtering — you do the drinking.
